Job summary

Arm Limited in Bengaluru, India, seeks a performance analysis specialist to run benchmarks and study SoC behavior in Linux and bare-metal environments.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Run benchmarks and performance experiments in Linux and bare-metal environments. Collect and interpret metrics such as latency, bandwidth, throughput, and utilization.
• Investigate performance bottlenecks using traces, counters, simulation results, and workload measurements, with guidance from senior engineers.
• Develop and maintain C/C++ and Python scripts for workload characterization
• Compare measured performance against architectural expectations and help identify the causes of gaps.

Experience Required:

• Experience in SoC Performance Analysis within the semiconductor industry
• Strong background in computer architecture and microarchitecture, including pipelines, cache hierarchy, memory systems, and system-level performance interactions.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python for developing performance analysis tools, automation frameworks, profiling infrastructure, and data visualization.
• experience working in both Linux and bare-metal environments, including:
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly present complex performance findings and influence architectural decisions
