Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics required.
• Fresh engineering graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of internship/industrial training.

Responsibilities

• Participate in structured classroom and on-the-job training; learn products, processes, quality systems; support engineering teams in design, project execution and manufacturing activities.
• Prepare GA drawings, BOMs, technical reports and customer documentation under guidance; participate in product development and process improvements.
• Assist in project execution, solve technical problems and drive continuous improvement with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing and ensure compliance with quality and safety procedures; complete projects and training modules on time.

Our Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Program is designed to develop the next generation of engineering professionals by providing structured technical training, cross-functional exposure and hands-on experience across engineering, manufacturing, projects, quality, supply chain and customer-facing functions.

Position Purpose

The Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) will undergo a structured learning and development program designed to build strong technical, analytical, and professional capabilities. During the training period, the trainee will work on live engineering assignments, participate in cross-functional rotations, and gain exposure to industrial valves, process automation, manufacturing operations, project execution, and customer engineering. Successful trainees will be deployed into suitable engineering roles based on performance and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in structured classroom and on-the-job training programs. Learn Nirmal's products, manufacturing processes, engineering standards and quality systems. Support engineering teams in design, project execution, proposal preparation, manufacturing, quality and application engineering activities.
• Prepare engineering documentation, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), technical reports and customer documentation under guidance. Participate in product development, value engineering, and process improvement initiatives to enhance product performance and operational efficiency.
• Assist in project execution, technical problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement and Quality.
• Participate in Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing and operational excellence initiatives. Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards and safety procedures. Complete departmental projects, technical assignments and training modules within defined timelines.

Required Qualifications

Basic Education (Mandatory)

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
• B.E./B.Tech in Mechatronics Engineering

Selection Preference

• Fresh Engineering Graduates (2025/ 2026 / 2027 Pass-outs).
• Candidates with internship or project experience in manufacturing, industrial automation, valves, instrumentation, process industries, or engineering design will be preferred.
• Exposure to CAD software, engineering drawings, BOM preparation, manufacturing processes, industrial projects, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills will be an added advantage.

Experience

Fresh graduates or candidates with up to one year of internship, apprenticeship, or industrial training experience.
