Job summary

Asahi India Glass Limited (AIS) Patan facility seeks a candidate to manage Production, Quality and Maintenance processes, ensuring safe operations and achieving targets. The role requires hands-on shop floor involvement and coordination with maintenance and quality teams.

Candidates should have B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical or Mechanical with >=65% across academics, freshers or 0–6 months internship, and must join immediately (2026 batch).

Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical or Mechanical engineering preferred.
• Academic scores >=65% in 10th, 12th and UG.
• Fresher or 0–6 months internship experience.
• Immediate joiner (2026 batch pass out).

Responsibilities

• Ensuring safe operating practices as per SOPs and accident-free workplace.
• Awareness on safety on the shop floor.
• Report defects to seniors.
• Adherence to customer quality standards.
• Run machines at defined cycle time.
• Improve life of key consumables.
• 100% involvement of employees in KAIZEN & 5S programs.
• Operations carried out as per system and job standards.
• Communicate daily shop floor issues to supervisors.
• Interact with Maintenance/Quality to resolve daily gaps in plan vs actual.
• Execute Monthly Improvement plans.
• Improve 5S level on shop floor.

To Manage Production, Quality and Maintenance Process

To ensure smooth process operations and achieve the results

• a) Ensuring safe operating practices are deployed as per SOPs & To ensure safe & accident free workplace in respective process.
• c) Awareness among employee for safety on shop floor.
• d) To report generation of defects to seniors
• e) To ensure proper adherance with quality standards as per the customer requirement
• f)To run the machine at defined Cycle time.
• h) To improve the life of all the key consumables
• i) 100% involvement of employees in Quality Circle and KAIZEN competitions,
• j) To Ensure all the operations are carried out as per the system and Job standards.
• k) To communicate daily issues of shop floor with supervisors
• l) To interact with Maintenance / Quality sections to resolves daily Gaps in Plan vs actual
• m) Execution of Monthly Improvement plan
• n) Improve 5 s level on shop floor

Role Requirement-

• -Candidates Preferrence- B.Tech./B.E. in Electrical/Mechanical streams only,
