Qualifications

• Fresh graduates selected for a year-long apprenticeship program.
• Basic engineering fundamentals and MS Office proficiency required.
• Knowledge of automation, IoT, or Industry 4.0 technologies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train graduate engineers and make them industry-ready in Manufacturing Engineering.
• Contribute to process documentation, SOPs, and PFMEA under ME Engineers guidance.
• Engage in automation projects and cross-functional team work.
• Coordinate with internal and external suppliers to meet commitments.
• Adhere to safety norms and demonstrate disciplined learning.

About NATS Apprenticeship Program:

National Apprenticeship Training Scheme, is a program where Volvo India engages freshly graduated individuals for year-long apprenticeships, providing them with practical training and skills development opportunities within the company’s various functions under Financial Services. it's a way for Volvo to train future workforce members through a structured apprenticeship program.

Qualification:

BE/BTech – Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Computer Science Engineering , Robotics Engineering

Experience: Fresher

• Purpose of the Job:
• To train young Graduate Engineers & make them Industry-ready by involving them in the work of Manufacturing engineering Department such as Process documentation & Automation Projects etc.
• GATs gain real time on the job knowledge and the industry gets few tasks completed through them
• Scope of Work and Accountability:
• Basic knowledge of Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or microcontrollers
• Understanding of motor control, sensors, embedded systems
• Familiarity with Python/C++ (preferred)
• Interest in Robotics with knowledge on ROS (Robot Operating System)
• Knowledge of PLC programming languages such as ladder logic & sequential function charts.
• Making Process Documentation (Process Sheets, SOPs, Work Instructions, One-point lessons, PFMEAs etc.) under the guidance of ME Engineers
• Work with cross-functional team
• Follow up with internal and external suppliers to meet the commitments
• To follow all the safety norms of the organization
• To be disciplined towards learning and committed to the outputs of the department
• Knowledge, Skills and Competencies required:
• Thorough understanding of Basic Engineering Fundamentals
• Working Knowledge of MS Office (Particularly, Excel and Power Point)
• Working Knowledge on AutoCAD & PLC
• Basic Knowledge of IoT Projects
• Creative, Innovative and hardworking, Good at communications
• Knowledge of IoT, automation, or Industry 4.0 technologies
• Full time first class (> 65%) bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Computer Science Engineering , Robotics Engineering
• Experience on MS Excel & MS Power Point
• Hands on experience on PLC software (Siemens) or Arduino / Raspberry pi projects
• Hands on experience on embedded C/C++
