Job summary

Alignerr Corp. seeks a Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Analyst for AI training data work. This remote, hourly contract role focuses on security, risk, and compliance reasoning.

You will review policies and controls, map them to SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST frameworks, and craft precise feedback to improve AI understanding of GRC concepts. Flexible schedule and ongoing opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in GRC, compliance, risk management or related field.
• Familiar with SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, PCI-DSS or similar.
• Ability to read policy documents and audit reports with attention to detail.

What You'll Do

• Review and analyze security policies, controls, and procedures for accuracy and completeness
• Evaluate and classify compliance scenarios across frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST
• Assess risk statements, control mappings, and audit-style documentation
• Generate and validate training and evaluation data used to improve AI reasoning on GRC topics
• Provide precise, structured written feedback that helps AI systems understand real-world compliance logic

Who You Are

• 2+ years of experience in GRC, compliance, risk management, or a related field
• Familiar with one or more major frameworks - SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, PCI-DSS, or similar
• Comfortable reading and interpreting policy documents, audit reports, and control frameworks
• Detail-oriented with strong written communication and analytical reasoning skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently on asynchronous, task-based assignments

Nice to Have

• Experience with data annotation, data quality review, or AI evaluation workflows
• Background in information security, internal audit, or enterprise risk management
• Familiarity with AI or machine learning concepts
