Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking a Network & Infrastructure Security Analyst to join our AI training initiatives. This fully remote, hourly contract role focuses on analyzing security scenarios that shape how AI understands threats in enterprise environments.

You'll work with leading AI teams on data labeling, incident classification, and documenting findings, with flexible scheduling of 10–40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience in network, infrastructure, or endpoint security.
• Familiar with firewalls, EDR, email security, IAM, SIEMs, and enterprise security tooling.
• Ability to explain complex security issues clearly and in business terms.

As a Network & Infrastructure Security Analyst, you'll apply your real-world expertise to analyze, classify, and evaluate security scenarios that directly shape how AI understands and responds to threats in enterprise environments.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role that lets you do meaningful, high-impact work on your own schedule.

What You'll Do

• Analyze network, endpoint, and email security scenarios across modern enterprise stacks
• Review firewall, EDR, and infrastructure security cases to identify what went wrong and why
• Classify incidents, misconfigurations, and control failures based on realistic operational data
• Create, label, and validate security training and evaluation datasets used to improve AI systems
• Clearly document findings, root causes, and business impact in structured formats

Who You Are

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in network, infrastructure, or endpoint security roles
• Familiar with firewalls, EDR platforms, email security, IAM, SIEMs, and enterprise security tooling
• Strong understanding of how organizations deploy and operate security controls in production
• Able to explain complex security issues clearly — both technically and in terms of business impact
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments

Nice to Have

• Experience with threat hunting, incident response, or SOC operations
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, or CIS Controls
• Prior involvement in AI, data labeling, or security research projects
