Job summary

Luxoft Germany is seeking an IT Engineer Application to ensure the operational management of the GoldenSource SaaS EDM platform for Global Markets. You will monitor health, manage incidents, changes, and runbooks, and coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to maintain high availability and compliance.

The role requires 7–10 years’ experience, strong ITSM knowledge, and hands-on automation skills (Python/Bash), plus familiarity with AWS and data workflows. Mumbai-based on-site position.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years total work experience in IT operations or application support.
• 5+ years in IT operations or application support, preferably in finance data platforms.
• Hands-on with SaaS apps, ideally GoldenSource or similar EDM systems.
• Familiarity with AWS and open-source tech stacks.
• Strong knowledge of ITSM: incident, change, problem management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain health and performance of GoldenSource SaaS application.
• Oversee daily operational activities: data ingestion and distribution.
• Resolve incidents, perform root cause analysis, coordinate with vendor.
• Coordinate CRs and releases with proper docs and communications.
• Implement automated data quality checks and reconciliation processes.
• Ensure compliance with ITSM, ORAP, and business continuity protocols.
• Act as liaison between FAB and GoldenSource for operations.
• Collaborate with GMO, MRM, Finance to align workflows.
• Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and incident logs; report to management.

The IT Engineer Application will be responsible for the operational management, support, and continuous improvement of the GoldenSource SaaS-based Enterprise Data Management (EDM) platform. This role ensures the stability, integrity, and efficiency of the application, supporting business-critical data flows for Global Markets. The candidate will coordinate with internal teams and the vendor, manage incidents and changes, and ensure compliance with FAB’s IT governance and security standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the health and performance of the GoldenSource SaaS application
• Oversee daily operational activities, including data ingestion, validation, and distribution to downstream systems.
• Manage and resolve incidents, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate with GoldenSource support for escalations.
• Coordinate and validate change requests (CRs) and releases, ensuring proper documentation and communication.
• Implement and monitor automated data quality checks and reconciliation processes.
• Maintain compliance with internal ITSM, ORAP, and business continuity protocols.
• Serve as the primary liaison between FAB and GoldenSource for operational matters.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders (e.g., GMO, MRM, Finance) to align operational workflows with business needs.
• Maintain operational runbooks, SOPs, and incident logs.
• Provide regular performance and issue resolution reports to management.
• Respect timelines and ensure high availability of the platform.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

SKILLS

Must have

• 7-10 years of total working experience.
• 5+ years of experience in IT operations or application support, preferably in financial services or data management platforms.
• Hands-on experience with SaaS applications, ideally GoldenSource or similar EDM systems.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure and open-source technology stacks.
• Strong understanding of market and reference data workflows.
• Experience in vendor coordination and SLA management.
• Knowledge of ITSM processes (e.g., incident, change, and problem management).
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
• Experience with automation tools and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Exposure to financial services or Global Markets.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Nice to have

Certifications in ITIL, AWS, or SaaS operations are a plus.
