Job summary

EY is seeking a CyberArk Operations Support Analyst in Chennai to help manage the PAM platform, monitor performance and provide first-level support for privileged access. You will work with the CyberArk infrastructure and contribute to security operations in EY's global managed services.

The role requires foundational cybersecurity knowledge, experience with Windows/Linux, AD/LDAP familiarity, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Foundational cybersecurity knowledge and eagerness to learn.
• Willingness to travel, be on-call, and work shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist admin and maintenance of CyberArk PAM including safes, platforms, and policies.
• Monitor health and performance of CyberArk environment; respond to alerts.
• Provide first-level support for privileged account access and password checkouts.
• Onboard new accounts to CyberArk; ensure security policy compliance.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity team on enhancements and updates.
• Document SOPs, configurations, and incident reports.
• Support CyberArk user training and awareness programs.
• Assist audits by providing necessary documentation.
• Stay updated with CyberArk features and industry best practices.
• Perform patching, upgrades, backups of CyberArk environment.

Global Managed Service – Privileged Identity and access Management – Staff

CyberArk Operations Support Analyst is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the CyberArk Privileged Access Management (PAM) platform. This includes managing the CyberArk infrastructure, monitoring system performance, and providing first-level support to resolve issues related to privileged account management. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of cybersecurity principles and be eager to learn and grow within the field.

Key Requirements / Responsibilities

• Assist in the administration and maintenance of the CyberArk PAM solution, including the management of safes, platforms, and policies.
• Monitor the health and performance of the CyberArk environment, responding to alerts and notifications in a timely manner.
• Provide first-level support for issues related to privileged account access, including password checkouts, session management, and account onboarding.
• Participate in the onboarding of new accounts into the CyberArk platform, ensuring compliance with security policies and best practices.
• Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to implement enhancements and updates to the CyberArk infrastructure.
• Document standard operating procedures, system configurations, and incident reports.
• Assist in the development and delivery of CyberArk user training and awareness programs.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and evidence related to CyberArk operations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest CyberArk features, updates, and industry best practices.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as patching, upgrades, and backups of the CyberArk environment

Preferred Skills

• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
• Familiarity with Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and LDAP is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
• Any experience with CyberArk or other PAM solutions is beneficial but not required.
• Certifications such as CyberArk Defender or Sentry are desirable but not mandatory for entry-level applicants

Education

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
