Job summary

SG OASIS HR CONSULTANCY PVT LTD in Mumbai is seeking a Structural Design Engineer / Senior Structural Engineer who can handle both technical design work and project/team coordination.

You will perform structural analysis and design across member types, review drawings for codes, prepare tender drawings and BOQ, and lead a team of engineers and designers on plant facilities, while coordinating with clients and managing multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in structural analysis and design of various member types including beams, slabs, columns and walls.
• Ability to check design documents against codes and standards.
• Experience coordinating projects and leading teams of engineers and designers.

Responsibilities

• Structural Analysis and Design & Development of Excel templates.
• Analysis and design of structural members: double tee, inverted tee beams, L-beams, R-beams, slabs, columns, wall panels, shear walls, metro walls, moment frames, stairs.
• Analyze buildings across residential, commercial, malls, mixed-use developments, hotels and hospitals.
• Check design documents and drawings for code compliance.
• Explain design and drawing issues to clients.
• Preliminary design, tender drawings and tender quantity estimation.
• Automate, check and validate in-house Excel design templates.
• Lead and manage multiple projects with milestones and ensure cost and scope compliance.
• Model, load calculation and analysis of structures.
• Assign work to engineers and designers; participate in project/management reviews.
• Review schedules, prepare and check calculations, prepare progress reports.
• Conduct site visits to finalize locations of new structures.
• Prepare feasibility reports for existing structures with added loads/modifications.
• Lead teams in preparing drawings and BOQ for plant facilities; implement field/design changes.
• Verify adequacy of existing structures under updated loads.

• Structural Analysis and Design & Development of Spread Sheets
• Analysis and design of structure members i.e. Double tee, Inverted tee Beams, L-Beam, R - Beams, Slabs, Columns, Wall Panels, Shear Walls, Metro walls, Moment frame, stairs, etc.
• Analysis and Design of Buildings (Residential, Commercial, Malls, Mixed use developments, Bungalows, Hotels, Schools, Hospitals etc.)
• Checker for all design documents & drawings with relevant codes & standards.
• Explanation of design & drawing related issues to client.
• Preliminary design, preparation of tender drawings and estimation of tender quantities.
• Preparation, automation, checking & validating all in-house excel design templates.
• Successfully managed multiple projects and milestones while ensuring that the projects compiled with all the cost & scope specifications.
• Modelling, load calculation and analysis of structure.
• Assign work to Engineer and Designer within the group,
• Involved in Project/Management review meetings.
• Review of schedule., Preparation and checking of calculation. Preparation of Progress report.
• Site visits to finalize location of new structures with requirement
• Prepared feasibility report for existing Structures with additional loads and modification
• Leading team of engineers and designers for preparation of drawings for all facilities of the plant and calculation of BOQ for the same.
• Provided field change and design change notice for the modifications pertains to the constructions
• Conducted adequacy check of the existing structures on the updated loads
