Job summary

Vodafone Idea Limited is seeking a Lead - BSS, Integration & Architecture to govern end-to-end BSS architecture including CRM and Billing modernization. You will drive AI-driven capabilities, open‑source adoption, and a strategic integration roadmap while ensuring robust documentation and risk mitigation across programs.

The role requires extensive experience in telecom architecture, API/ESB integration, and transformative programs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture and design for BSS systems and CRM/Billing transformations.
• Govern CRM architecture to optimize customer experience and self-service.
• Drive AI-driven capabilities into CRM and Billing platforms for automation.
• Lead the strategic integration roadmap and architecture for Vi.
• Oversee application modernization and open‑source adoption across BSS layers.
• Ensure active participation in program forums, workshops and design discussions.
• Identify architecture risks and propose mitigations to stakeholders.
• Create and maintain architecture documentation for transformation deliverables.

Job Purpose

The Lead for BSS, Integration & Architecture governs end-to-end architecture and design for BSS systems including CRM, Billing, Integration transformation programs, ensuring all deliverables are aligned to guiding principles and programme timelines. This role also drives AI-driven capability into BSS platforms and leads application modernization with a view to enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency.

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

• - Own end-to-end architecture and design for BSS systems including CRM and Billing transformation programs aligned to guiding principles.
• - Govern CRM architecture to simplify and optimize customer experience and support digital self-service.
• - Drive enabling of AI-driven capabilities into CRM and Billing platforms to enable automation and intelligence.
• - Drive the strategic Integration Roadmap and Architecture for Vi
• - Lead application modernization and open-source adoption across BSS and middleware layers.
• - Ensure 100% participation in program forums including WSRs, workshops, and design discussions.
• - Identify and elevate architecture risks and issues with recommended solutions to programme stakeholders.
• - Build and maintain architecture documentation and design artefacts for all transformation deliverables.

Years of working experience

• - Minimum 10 years total with at least 6 years in BSS architecture, CRM/Billing platform design, and middleware integration.

Minimum Education Qualification

• - B.E./B.Tech — Computer Science, Electronics, or Telecommunications. MBA or M.Tech preferred.
