Bajaj Auto Limited in India seeks a senior QA leader to own all aspects of quality assurance for manufacturing. You will manage incoming, in-process, and outgoing quality, coordinate with R&D, and interface with vendors and internal stakeholders to safeguard product integrity.

You will lead a 30+ member QA team, drive new quality standards, and oversee audits of suppliers and shops. The role requires deep knowledge of APQP, 7QC tools, and problem-solving, with a focus on high-end motorcycle

Formación

• Minimum 14 years of QA experience in automotive manufacturing.
• Maximum 22 years experience may be considered.
• Experience leading a 30+ member QA team.
• Knowledge of APQP and supplier quality processes.
• Exposure to High-end Sports bikes QA.
• Ability to interface with R&D and vendors.

Job Role & Responsibilities

Job Overview

To lead the overall QA function (incoming quality, in process quality, outgoing quality, vendor parts quality & export supply quality) for the manufacturing location while interfacing with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure product quality.

Responsibilities:

• Independent handling of all QA functions for High-end Sports bikes
• Adopting and developing new quality standards, processes, for sustaining and improving product quality
• Leading and developing a diverse team for new capabilities and high performance. Ensuring team performance in regard to DWM, SIR of parts as per plan
• Examining the outgoing vehicle quality for functional, aesthetic, safety etc.
• Ensuring products are designed with adherence to legal and safety standards.
• Process audit at vendors & shops for verification of system compliance.
• Understanding customer expectations and needs from the product.
• Developing and improving supplier quality
• Knowledge of New product development process.
• Interface with R&D for rectifying quality issues and analysis
• Audits- Internal and vendor quality, TPM
• Analyzing statistical reports on quality standards and suggesting corrective measures
• Field failure analysis along with CQA – EFR / Warranty & initiating actions
• Guide concerned departments & vendors for implementing corrective & preventive actions.

• Troubleshooting on supplier process issues and analysis.
• Knowledge electrical vehicle components viz. ECU, sensors
• Knowledge on homologation

• Knowledge on New Model development as per APQP process on Quality roles.
