Qualifications

• 15–20 years of manufacturing experience in specialty chemicals and Agro Chemicals.
• Strong knowledge of process safety, quality systems, environmental regulations, maintenance, and KPI management.
• Experience with zero-based budgeting, cost optimization, and continuous improvement.
• Excellent leadership, team management, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead site manufacturing operations and ensure production targets are achieved safely and efficiently.
• Oversee site management, production planning, maintenance & engineering, QA, and supply chain coordination.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain effective communication with employees, senior management, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing team and drive cost optimization.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• 1. Candidate will be based at Plant location near Mahad for reputed company manufacturing speciality chemicals / Agro Chemical company. Candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the overall manufacturing operations at the near Mahad, ensuring achievement of production targets, operational efficiency, product quality, cost effectiveness, and compliance with all applicable safety, health, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• 2. Candidate will be responsible for site management, production planning and execution, maintenance and engineering, quality assurance, supply chain coordination, budgeting, sustainability initiatives, and development of a high-performing team.
• 3. Candidate will be responsible for Lead site manufacturing operations and ensure production targets are achieved safely and efficiently.
• 4. Candidate will be responsible for Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, quality, environmental, and company requirements.
• 5. Candidate will be responsible for Maintain effective communication with employees, senior management, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.

Preferred candidate profile

• 1. Candidate should be Bachelors/Masters degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field and 1520 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in specialty chemicals and Agro Chemicals.
• 2. Candidate should have good knowledge of Develop and manage the site & annual budget, tracking expenditures and optimizing costs while maintaining production efficiency.
• 3. Candidate should have good strong understanding of process safety, quality systems, environmental regulations, maintenance, operational excellence, KPI management, zero-based budgeting, cost optimization, and continuous improvement. The candidate should possess excellent leadership, team management, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• 4. Candidate should have good knowledge of Prepare regular reports on site performance, including production, safety, and financial metrics, and communicate results to senior management. - Foster open communication with all levels of employees and promote a culture of transparency.
• 5. Candidate should have good knowledge of Monitor production output, quality control, and efficiency, making necessary adjustments to optimize operations. Ensure adherence to strict safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
