Job summary

OP Mobility is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design and implement embedded software for ADAS, radar, electrification, hydrogen, lighting, and SW platforms. You will work in an international Agile context and contribute strong C/C++ development expertise.

You will collaborate with system, hardware, and algorithms teams to ensure coherent software across products, following AUTOSAR, ISO26262, and safety standards. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• University degree in Electronic & Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 6-8 years of experience in embedded software development and integration, preferably automotive.
• Strong C programming skills and scripting (Python, MATLAB, C#).
• Experience with microcontroller architectures and communication buses.
• AUTOSAR architecture, methodology and toolchain proficiency.
• MBd development for embedded targets (MATLAB/Simulink).
• Familiar with SCRUM, V-Model and automotive quality standards (Automotive SPICE, ISO26262).
• Knowledge of DOORS/CodeBeamer for requirements management.
• Understanding of functional safety and testing with JIRA/Confluence/Git tooling.
• Knowledge of Vector tools CANape/CANoe/Canalyzer and networking.

Responsibilities

SCOPE

You will be in charge of the design and implementation of embedded software and functions for ADAS functions, radar, Electrification, hydrogen, lighting, SW platforms products. You will work in an international context and Agile environment. In this context, we are looking for Embedded Software Engineer who will be in charge to understand one or several of the above domains while bringing a strong knowledge on C/C++ SW development.

RESPONSABILITIES

1. Understand system functionalities and related software requirements related to the products
2. Develop C code according to SW requirements
3. Debug and fix issues raised by validation teams
4. Knowledgeable about CI/CD development process and tools
5. Should be proficient in C and possess detailed knowledge of microcontroller communication protocols
6. Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team (system, hardware, algorithms, scientific researcher...) to ensure software development coherence vs. global product development
7. Development, integration and testing of embedded software components
8. Perform software unit testing, integration and qualification testing when required
9. Development and integration of software components on standard or internal platforms
10. Debug raised issues and proposes fixes by discussing with testers and SW requirement engineers
11. Develop SW according to automotive standards (autosar) with knowledge about safety, cybersecurity, A-Spice, UDS
12. Contributes to appropriate procedures and documentation and capitalizes knowledge
13. Analysis complex issues and trouble shoot firmware and Hardware integration

REQUIREMENTS

1. University Degree in Electronic & Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
2. At least 6-8 years of experience in development and integration embedded software applications preferably for automotive
3. Excellent programming skills in C and good scripting skills (e.g., Python, MATLAB, C# etc.)
4. Experience with different microcontroller architectures and communication buses
5. Strong experience with AUTOSAR architecture, methodology and toolchain
6. Experience with MBD development for embedded targets (MATLAB/Simulink)
7. Familiar with agile as well as traditional development methodologies (SCRUM, V-Model)
8. Master automotive quality and safety standards (Automotive SPICE, ISO26262)
9. Good logical reasoning and problem investigation/resolution
10. Knowledge on requirements management (DOORS, Codebeamer),
11. Good understanding of the functional safety,
12. Experience with JIRA, Confluence, GITLAB, GitHUb, Jenkins...
13. Knowledge and experience on Vector Tools (CANape, CANoe, Canalyzer)
14. Good capacity of listening and communication skills
15. Team spirit and able to work autonomously
16. Fluent English
17. Good understanding of Hardware Schematics
