Job summary

OP Mobility is seeking a senior embedded software engineer to lead architecture and development for automotive lighting systems. You will draft technical concepts, review specifications, and ensure high quality SW delivery across platforms.

The role demands strong C programming, MATLAB/Simulink MB development, and experience with functional safety standards. You will collaborate across teams in an Agile and V-Model environment.

Qualifications

• University degree in Electronic & Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong experience in development and architecture of embedded software applications preferably automotive.
• Excellent programming skills in C and scripting (Python, MATLAB, C#).
• Experience with different microcontroller architectures and communication buses.
• Experience with MBD development for embedded targets (MATLAB/Simulink).
• Familiar with agile as well as traditional development methods (SCRUM, V-Model).
• Master automotive quality and safety standards (Automotive SPICE, ISO26262).
• Good DOORS/CodeBeamer usage for requirements management.
• Knowledge of functional safety.

Responsibilities

• Develop SW according to high quality standards with knowledge about safety, cybersecurity, A-Spice.
• Contributes to appropriate procedures and documentation and capitalizes knowledge.

REQUIREMENTS

4. Experience with different microcontroller architectures and communication buses.
5. Experience with MBD development for embedded targets (MATLAB/Simulink).
6. Familiar with agile as well as traditional development methodologies (SCRUM, V-Model).
7. Master automotive quality and safety standards (Automotive SPICE, ISO26262).
8. Good logical reasoning and problem investigation/resolution.
9. Knowledge on requirements management (DOORS, Codebeamer).
10. Good understanding of the functional safety.
11. Experience with JIRA, Confluence, GITLAB, GitHUb, Jenkins….
12. Knowledge and experience on Vector Tools (CANape, CANoe, Canalyzer).
13. Good capacity of listening and communication skills.
14. Team spirit and able to work autonomously.
15. Fluent English.
16. At least 15+ years of experience in development and integration embedded software applications preferably for automotive
