Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Global Project Manager in Global Medical Affairs to lead end-to-end advisory board meetings, define scope and timelines, and drive cross-functional collaboration across global teams. The role resides in Novo Nordisk Global Business Services, Bangalore, India, within Medical Communications and Global Medical Affairs.

Qualifications

  • A master’s degree in life sciences, business, or a relevant area.
  • 5-6 years of relevant experience in cross-functional project management, business development, or global event/meetings management in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for project management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience in budget management and strategic planning.
  • Ability to work in teams and drive projects independently.
  • Organised, strategic, and process-oriented mindset.
  • Nice to have experience and understanding of Medical Affairs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of advisory board meetings, ensuring strategic impact and flawless execution.
  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and metrics to determine success.
  • Develop comprehensive project timelines, ensuring timely progress and completion.
  • Manage end-to-end KOL activities, including contracting, invoicing, and closure.
  • Oversee project budgets in collaboration with Global Medical Directors and Business Partners.
  • Engage with and manage vendors, ensuring cost efficiency and alignment with corporate procurement processes.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies during project execution.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration by mapping stakeholders, understanding their needs, and ensuring high buy-in and motivation.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments to identify gaps in existing systems and processes, proposing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency

The position
As a Global Product Lead, You Will

Medical Communications - Global Medical Affairs, Product & Portfolio Strategy, headquartered in Denmark (HQ), is part of Global Business Services (GBS), Bangalore, India. The team is composed of highly motivated global scientific advisors, project managers and graphic designers. Together, we partner with the Global Medical Affairs teams in Denmark. Our core competencies include communicating scientific and medical knowledge on our products to the external scientific community and across the organization, in-house content development and project management for external medical events. The atmosphere is dynamic and fast-paced, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
