Job summary

Novo Nordisk Global Business Services (GBS) in Bengaluru seeks an Consultant to analyze complex healthcare data and turn it into actionable insights. You will design reporting in Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint for commercial activities, work with IQVIA Market/Sales data, prescription data, and internal sales data, and define KPIs from a user perspective.

You will manage projects, communicate clearly, and collaborate across functions to drive outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in the pharma industry with consulting a plus.
• Translate business problems into efficient analysis plans with data pull, prep, conclusions and recommendations.
• Strong project management skills and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent English communication, able to work independently or in a team.
• Master’s degree in quantitative/management; undergrad in pharma/science/engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex reporting in Excel/PowerPoint/Power BI for commercial activities

• Be aware of BI technologies and define KPIs from user perspective
• Monitor project progress and adjust resources/priorities

• Deliver analytics and consulting services for design, execution and delivery of Business Analytics projects
• Ensure stakeholder engagement by delivering insight-driven projects
• Collaborate across functions to execute cross-functional projects

The position

We are seeking a candidate with strong analytical skills, along with proficiency in advanced analytics tools. The ideal candidate should also possess a solid understanding of the pharmaceutical commercial value chain and demonstrate effective project management capabilities.

As An Consultant At Novo Nordisk, You Will

• Design and implement complex reporting in Excel/PowerPoint/Power BI that relates to commercial activities
• Demonstrate understanding of multiple datasets including IQVIA Market/Sales, Prescription data, Internal Company Sales Data
• Possess awareness on various BI technologies with ability to operate and define KPIs from user perspective
• Monitor project progress, adjusting resources and priorities as needed
• Exhibit excellent presentation and story boarding skills on PowerPoint
• Analyse data to generate actionable insights and provide strategic recommendations
• Deliver analytical and consulting services for the design, execution and delivery of Business Analytics project
• Ensure superior stakeholder engagement by delivering insight-driven projects
• Collaborate across functions to execute cross functional projects successfully

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in the Pharma industry. Consulting experience would be a plus
• Strong strategic and analytical capabilities to translate business problems into most efficient and effective analysis plan; execute the analysis including data pull, data preparation, conclusions and recommendations
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Master’s Degree (preferably within quantitative/management discipline) from a well-recognized institute
• Under-graduate degree preferably in Pharma (B. Pharm), Science/Biotechnology (BSc) and Engineering (B. Tech)
