Job summary
Vertiv seeks a senior AI Solutions Specialist to lead AI development, automation scaling, and capability uplift across the organization. You will design, deploy, and scale AI solutions using Copilot, Claude, and other platforms, while coaching teams to adopt AI tools.
You will own end-to-end AI projects, train colleagues through workshops, and collaborate with finance, procurement, and sales to deliver measurable business value.
Qualifications
- 5–8+ years in AI solution development, automation, and digital transformation with hands-on LLM platforms.
- Bachelor's in IT/CS/Engineering; Master's preferred.
- Proven programming and RPA experience across business contexts.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy AI solutions using Copilot, Claude, and other LLM tools.
- Apply software skills to build integrations, APIs, and AI-powered apps.
- Leverage RPA to automate processes in finance, procurement, and sales.

The P3 Digital Automation and AI Specialist is a senior-level subject matter expert within the Optimization Team, responsible for developing and delivering AI solutions, scaling automation initiatives, and uplifting team capabilities across the organization. This role combines hands‑on AI development experience (including tools like Microsoft Copilot, Claude, and other LLM platforms) with software development skills and practical RPA expertise in business contexts such as finance, procurement, and sales. As a people‑oriented leader and experienced subject matter expert, the Specialist drives AI adoption by building and deploying solutions, training colleagues on AI tools and methodologies, and coaching team members to develop their own expertise. The role also involves product and project management, ensuring initiatives move from concept to delivery with clear ownership and accountability. The role demands a results‑driven mindset, strong training skills, and the ability to bring personal expertise to uplift others. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives on getting things done, enjoys teaching and mentoring, and can bridge the gap between technical AI capabilities and real‑world business outcomes.
- Design, develop, and deploy AI solutions leveraging platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, and other LLM/generative AI tools
- Apply software development skills to build custom integrations, APIs, and AI‑powered applications that solve business challenges
- Leverage RPA experience to automate processes in business‑critical areas such as finance, procurement, and sales
- Own the full lifecycle of AI projects, from requirements gathering and prototyping through deployment and iteration
- Develop and deliver training programs on AI tools for teams across the organization
- Conduct hands‑on workshops, lunch‑and‑learns, and structured training sessions to build AI literacy and practical skills
- Create reusable training materials, guides, and documentation to support ongoing learning and adoption
- Promote AI capabilities and use cases to drive awareness and enthusiasm for AI adoption across business functions
- Coach and mentor team members at all levels, sharing personal expertise to accelerate their growth and technical capabilities
- Foster a people‑oriented team culture focused on collaboration, knowledge sharing, and mutual support
- Help scale AI and automation solutions by enabling others to build, maintain, and extend solutions independently
- Lead guild sessions and community‑of‑practice meetings to share best practices, emerging AI trends, and lessons learned across teams
- Scale successful AI and automation solutions across business units, ensuring broad adoption and measurable impact
- Lead proof‑of‑concept initiatives and pilot programs to validate new AI technologies and identify high‑value use cases
- Drive a results‑oriented culture focused on getting things done, continuous improvement, and delivering tangible business value through AI and automation
- 5–8+ years of experience in AI solution development, automation, and digital transformation, with hands‑on experience using AI/LLM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT). Demonstrated software development skills and practical RPA experience in business contexts such as finance, procurement, or sales. Product or project management experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred in IT, Computer Science, Data Science, or related discipline.
- Proficiency in AI/LLM tools (Microsoft Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar), software development (Python, JavaScript, or comparable languages), Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI), RPA development, API design, and project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or SAFe).
- People‑oriented mindset, strong training and facilitation skills, results‑driven attitude, coaching and mentoring ability, cross‑functional collaboration, clear communication, and a passion for teaching others and driving AI adoption.
