Job summary

3M India Limited in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Engineering GCC Leader to lead a global engineering organization across multiple disciplines, drive GCC strategy, and deliver engineering programs.

The role requires 15+ years in engineering and 10+ years in leadership, with comfort leading across global teams, and travel up to 30%. Work location is Hebbal, Bangalore, hybrid.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 15+ years of engineering, project engineering, manufacturing engineering, or capital project experience.
• 10+ years of leadership experience leading managers, technical leaders, or engineering organizations.
• Experience delivering multi-million-dollar engineering programs while meeting safety, quality, cost, and schedule objectives.
• Experience working across global teams, cultures, and business environments.
• Comfortable to lead through ambiguity and focused on building teams through high engagement.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 15+ years of engineering, project engineering, manufacturing engineering, or capital project experience.
• 10+ years of leadership experience leading managers, technical leaders, or engineering organizations.
• Experience delivering multi-million-dollar engineering programs while meeting safety, quality, cost, and schedule objectives.
• Experience working across global teams, cultures, and business environments.
• Comfortable to lead through ambiguity and focused on building teams through high engagement.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Master's degree in engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field.
• Experience establishing or leading Global Capability Centers, shared service engineering organizations, or outsourced engineering models.
• Strong change management, organizational transformation, and operating model design experience.Executive presence with exceptional stakeholder management and influence skills.
• Demonstrated success driving engineering standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
