Job summary

3M in Bangalore (Hebbal) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead service transitions for global SAP initiatives. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, ensure go-live readiness, and manage risks in a hybrid work environment.

The role requires a 10+ year track record in project management, strong organizational skills and the ability to operate across global regulatory contexts (SOX, FDA). On-call support may be required to meet timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university.
• 10+ years of project management experience.
• 5–7 years' experience in a globally distributed company.
• 5+ years in regulated environments (SOX, FDA, etc.).
• 5+ years supporting global SAP projects.

Responsibilities

• Leads service transition activities ensuring gate criteria, timelines, quality standards and acceptance criteria are met.
• Implements transition methodology with scheduling, coordination, documentation, risk tracking and go-live readiness.
• Assesses processes, training, communications and delivery impacts to determine readiness.
• Supports cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities and drive successful transitions.
• On-call availability to support transition activities and issue resolution.

• Leads service transition activities to ensure gate criteria, timelines, quality standards, and acceptance criteria are met.
• Implements established transition methodology, including project scheduling, coordination, documentation, risk tracking, and go-live readiness activities.
• Determines service readiness needs by assessing processes, procedures, training, communications, delivery impacts, and transition risks.
• Supports cross-functional stakeholders across Operations, Process Leadership, GBS Leadership, internal clients, and external customers to align priorities and drive successful transitions.
• Willingness to be on-call, as needed, to support transition activities, issue resolution, and business-critical timelines.

Your Skills and Expertise

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of Project Management Experience.
• Minimum of 5 to 7 years' experience working in a company with global reach.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with regulated systems or environments, subject to compliance controls (SOX, FDA, etc.).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting global SAP projects.
• Strong organizational skills including ability to deal with ambiguity and ability to breakdown complex work.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and team collaboration skills.
