Levi Strauss (India) Private Limited is seeking an Analyst Global Accounting - R2R to independently manage controllership deliverables and month-end close activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, SOX compliance, and high-quality GL and balance sheet reconciliations. You will oversee BPO partners, resolve accounting issues, and perform variance analyses with strong knowledge of US GAAP across revenue, inventory, leases, and intercompany processes.

Analyst Global Accounting - R2R Job Description Summary: This position is required to independently manage controllership deliverable and month-end close activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, strong SOX compliance, and high-quality GL and balance sheet reconciliations. This role will effectively manage BPO partner, proactively resolve accounting and aged-item issues, provide meaningful financial variance analysis, and demonstrate sound knowledge of US GAAP, revenue, inventory, lease, sales, intercompany, AR/AP, and banking accounting. Strong stakeholder management and communication across Affiliate Finance, Regional Controllership, and business teams are essential.
Independently manage daily controllership and financial close activities across Asia, Middle East, and Africa (AMA) affiliates. Own and execute key SOX controls, ensuring compliance with documented control requirements. Manage and oversee BPO/service providers, including review and quality assurance of account reconciliations. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for GL account reconciliations and provide accounting/process guidance to BPO teams. Manage key accounting activities covering revenue recognition and reversals, inventory, leases, sales accounting, AR, AP, and banking. Perform financial statement variance analysis and provide meaningful explanations to Regional Controllership. Review intercompany reconciliations, balance confirmations, and ICP, ensuring timely resolution of differences. Support preparation and review of various SEC-required reports and ensure compliance with US GAAP reporting requirements. Collaborate closely with Affiliate Finance, Regional Controllership, Commercial Operations, and other cross-functional stakeholders across AMA. Require strong SAP ERP closing/reporting experience, Microsoft Office skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The ideal candidate should be a B.Com./M.Com. graduate with CA/CPA/CMA qualification 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in Accounting and Finance.
