Job summary

RSM is seeking a Financial Analyst General Ledger (Controllership) to support financial accounting, month-end close, reporting, and controllership activities for its India operations. Location is Bangalore with ICWA/India CMA/CA qualifications.

The role focuses on journal entries, reconciliations, fixed assets, intercompany accounting, and collaboration with auditors to ensure compliance with the Companies Act and internal controls. Candidates from audit/accounting firms are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting and financial reporting fundamentals.
• Experience in GL, month-end close, reconciliations, fixed assets, and intercompany accounting.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Prepare balance sheet schedules, MIS, and financial reporting.
• Handle fixed assets, depreciation, intercompany accounting, and expense recognition.
• Manage revenue accounting in a cost-plus environment and support intercompany reconciliations.
• Partner with statutory/internal auditors and support financial statements, disclosures, and XBRL filings.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, Companies Act, and internal controls.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support finance transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with Tax, AP, Treasury, FP&A, and business teams to resolve accounting issues.
