Job summary

Growth For Impact is seeking a senior Engineering Project Manager to lead and grow a high-performing project execution team within a global operations environment in Chennai. You will coach professionals, align with stakeholders, and drive successful project delivery across GIS HV/substation initiatives.

You will also oversee workforce planning, recruitment, and development, while ensuring accurate resource billing and efficient HR administrative support, contributing to the company’s strategic

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 15years of experience in project execution, including significant experience managing GIS HV products or substation projects.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager with strong leadership capabilities and experience leading teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to influence, align, and challenge decisions in the best interest of business goals and collaborative outcomes.
• Strong expertise in people management, talent development, workforce planning, and performance management.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills with the ability to drive productive discussions across diverse teams.
• Experience working in a matrixed or global environment with accountability for operational and business performance metrics.
