Job summary

Arting Digital in New Delhi, India is seeking a GIS Full Stack Developer to design and build scalable geospatial web applications. You will implement backend services with Python and modern frameworks, while delivering map-based frontends using React.js and mapping libraries.

The role requires experience with GIS tools, geospatial databases, and REST API development. On-site work is expected, with a focus on collaboration across product and design teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with GIS tools such as QGIS or ArcGIS.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable web applications using Python and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.js or Next.js.
• Build and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Node.js.
• Develop interactive geospatial web applications using mapping libraries like Leaflet, OpenLayers, or Mapbox.
• Work with spatial and relational databases such as PostgreSQL/PostGIS or MySQL.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external data sources into applications.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and developers to implement new product features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues during development, testing, and deployment.
• Ensure code quality through best practices, version control, and documentation.
