Job summary

Vrinda International seeks an experienced GG Instructor to deliver gemological education and practical training for students and professionals at our Mumbai base. The role requires 10+ years in gemology or gemological education and expertise in diamond grading and stone identification.

You will teach practical and theoretical modules, develop content, and assess students while aligning with IGI standards and industry practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in gemology or gemology education.
• Strong knowledge of diamond and colored stones.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct theoretical and practical training for GG/Graduate Gemologist programs.
• Deliver sessions on diamond grading, colored stones, gem identification, treatments and grading standards.
• Demonstrate gemological instruments and testing techniques.
• Evaluate students through assignments, practical assessments, examinations and projects.
• Develop and update training content, presentations and practical exercises.
• Maintain student attendance, performance and assessment records.
• Mentor students and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure training aligns with IGI curriculum, quality standards and methodologies.
• Support workshops, seminars and industry sessions.
• Stay updated with gemology, treatments, grading practices and industry trends.
