Job summary

Cognizant seeks a GUI Systems Engineer with strong background in embedded display systems and HMI workflows. You will define display behaviors, interactions, and screen functionalities, and contribute to verification activities across the product lifecycle.

The role requires hands-on systems engineering, requirements elicitation and documentation, and experience with traceability tools such as Polarion or DOORS. Collaboration across engineering teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting System Integration Verification Validation and requirement verification activities throughout the product lifecycle.
• 5+ years of experience in GUI HMI Systems Engineering for Embedded Display Systems in Vehicle/Engine/Off-Highway contexts.
• Strong ability to define and specify display behavior, screen functionalities, user interactions, alerts, menus, and HMI workflows.
• Hands-on experience in Requirements Elicitation, Analysis, Clarification, Documentation and Requirements Management.

Responsibilities

• Support system integration, verification, validation and requirements management across the product lifecycle.
• Develop Use Cases and User Workflows; perform Functional Analysis and Feature Specification.
• Maintain end-to-end requirements and traceability using Polarion or DOORS.

Responsibilities

play Solutions within the Automotive Agricultural Machinery or Off-Highway Equipment domain.

Strong experience in defining and specifying display behavior screen functionalities user interactions alerts menus and HMI workflows.

Hands-on expertise in Systems Engineering including Requirements Elicitation Analysis Clarification Documentation and Requirements Management.

Proven experience in Use Case Development User Workflow Definition Functional Analysis and Feature Specification.

Proficiency in Requirements Management and Traceability Tools such as Polarion or DOORS with experience in maintaining end-to-end requirements
