Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Geography Educator role for ICSE Board students in Grades 7 to 10, based in Rajkot. The Geography Educator will plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that develop students’ understanding of physical and human geography. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and teaching materials, conducting classroom instruction, assessing student learning through tests and assignments, and providing constructive feedback. The educator will also support students’ academic growth, participate in school events and meetings, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong Teaching and Education skills, with experience instructing ICSE Board students in Geography for Grades 7-10.
• Ability in Lesson Planning and Training, including designing structured lesson plans, learning activities, and assessments.
• Excellent Communication skills for clear classroom instruction, student engagement, and collaboration with families and colleagues.
• Relevant academic background in Geography, Education, or a related field; a bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred.
• Knowledge of ICSE curriculum standards and contemporary teaching methodologies, including learner-centered and activity-based approaches.
• Capability to manage classrooms effectively, use educational technology where appropriate, and create an inclusive, respectful learning environment.
• Prior teaching experience in middle and high school settings; experience in ICSE-affiliated schools is an advantage.
