Qualifications

• MBBS with valid medical council registration.
• Strong diagnostic reasoning from general tests and symptom presentation.
• Adult non-surgical general medicine experience.
• Medication management including interactions and side-effect counseling.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary hospital teams.
• Maintain clinical documentation discipline.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient medical and health problems across assigned client engagements by referring to their history and carrying out diagnosis, investigation, treatment, and referral as appropriate.
• Run general-medicine consults for hospital and healthcare clients — non-surgical adult care for routine, complex, and uncommon presentations, with follow-up until issues are treated or stabilised.
• Discuss side-effects, best conditions for use, and possible interactions of medication with patients and their families in language they can act on.
