Job summary

Lloyds Infrastructure & Construction Limited seeks a General Manager - Project Management to take full ownership of delivering the LICL PB coal mine project in Jharkhand, end-to-end, with a mandate for on-time delivery, quality standards, budget adherence and zero unsafe incidents.

The role requires leading large, multidisciplinary site teams, managing client and government interfaces, and ensuring strong governance and financial control throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of experience in large EPC projects, preferably coal mining or heavy infrastructure.
• Proven leadership in project execution, planning, cost control, and contract management.
• Strong leadership, decision‑making, communication, and safety‑first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, execution, monitoring, and completion.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, procurement, and cost control.
• Drive EHS, quality, risk, and statutory compliance.
• Manage client, consultant, contractor, and government authority interfaces.

• Monitor performance via EVM, SPI, CPI, and progress reporting.
• Oversee contract administration, claims, invoicing, and commercial performance.

Job description

The role carries responsibility for project strategy, planning, execution, contractor and client management, and financial control. It also covers statutory compliance and building strong relationships with the client, consultants, authorities, and local communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project planning, execution, monitoring, and completion.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, procurement, and cost control.
