Job summary

Jobitus in Ahmedabad is seeking a General Manager- Project with 15-25 years of pharma project leadership. You will drive end-to-end execution from concept through commissioning, manage CAPEX budgets, and coordinate with Engineering, Production, QA, EHS, Procurement and external consultants.

The role requires BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Chemical, strong GMP/EHS compliance, risk management, and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• 15–25 years of experience in pharma project management or equivalent
• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Chemical engineering with strong GMP exposure
• Experience in budgeting, CAPEX, and multi-disciplinary coordination

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution from conceptualization, feasibility, budgeting through commissioning and handover.
• Prepare project plans, schedules, CAPEX budgets, resource plans, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production, QA, EHS, Procurement, Utilities, Validation, contractors, and external consultants.
• Manage design reviews, plant layout finalization, equipment selection, and technical evaluations.
• Monitor progress, timelines, costs, quality, and resource utilization to meet objectives.
• Supervise contractors, site activities, construction work, and safety compliance.
• Ensure adherence to cGMP, EHS, regulatory regulations and quality standards.
• Conduct project reviews and provide progress reports to management.
• Maintain project documentation, change control records, and stakeholder communications.
• Lead commissioning, qualification, performance verification, and handover activities.
• Identify risks, resolve execution challenges, and implement corrective actions to minimize delays and overruns
