Job summary

Indihire Consultants seeks a senior Project Manager to lead medium and large-scale pharmaceutical CAPEX projects from concept to completion. You will manage scope, budget, timelines, quality and safety, developing plans, schedules and risk strategies.

The role requires deep experience in HVAC and cleanroom systems, GMP-aligned designs, and OSD manufacturing projects/equipment. Strong leadership is essential for coordinating with vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Minimum 5 years in leadership/project management.
• Strong experience in pharmaceutical CAPEX/project execution.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC and cleanroom systems.
• Experience with OSD pharmaceutical manufacturing projects/equipment.

Role & responsibilities

• Lead medium and large-scale pharmaceutical CAPEX projects from concept to completion.
• Manage project scope, budget, timelines, quality and safety.
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets and risk-management strategies.
• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors and vendors.
• Ensure projects are delivered as per approved objectives and timelines.

• Provide technical expertise in pharmaceutical HVAC and cleanroom systems.
• Review heat-load calculations, AHU selection, airflow requirements, pressure cascades, ducting and HVAC control philosophy.
• Review engineering designs and ensure they meet GMP and operational requirements.
• Support installation, commissioning and qualification of HVAC systems.

• Provide engineering/project expertise for Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) manufacturing facilities and equipment.
• Experience with tablet/capsule manufacturing equipment such as granulation, blending, compression, coating, drying or related systems will be valuable.
• Ensure equipment selection and installation meet operational, quality and regulatory requirements.
