General Manager – Domestic Procurement & E-Auction

Job brief

We are looking for an experienced General Manager – Domestic Procurement & E-Auction to lead domestic sourcing and procurement operations for recyclable materials and scrap categories.

The role involves strategic procurement, vendor management, e-auction participation, commercial negotiations, and logistics coordination. The candidate will ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards and uninterrupted material availability for operations.

The position will support efficient procurement planning, supplier relationship management, and auction-based sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.

Requirements

• Strong experience in domestic scrap procurement, metal recycling, battery recycling, or secondary lead industry
• Sound knowledge of E-Auction and E-Bidding platforms
• Experience in procurement of lead scrap, battery scrap, copper scrap, cable scrap, and recyclable metals
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and commercial skills
• Good understanding of logistics, scrap handling, and auction material lifting processes
• Knowledge of SAP / ERP systems preferred
