JOB DESCRIPTION

Associate General Manager - Design: You will own the revenue of a region and manage critical growth and performance metrics for the business and people. You will take ownership of business-critical initiatives such as product launches, internal process improvements, category expansion, and vendor base management.

Contribute actively to business decisions through qualitative inputs and in-depth quantitative analysis.
Have a strong understanding of design requirements and customer experience to maximize business results.
Develop, lead, motivate, and manage a young and ambitious city team (cohorts of Business/Design Managers, Territory Area Managers, Designers, DPs, LPs, etc.).
Develop the ecosystem for a successful Design experience for internal teams and customers. Own the quality of Design Closure of Livspace catalogue products (Kitchen, Wardrobe, Storages, Furniture & Decor) and essential home improvement services for the region.
Drive and meet KPIs such as design sign-offs, error-free designs, sales/category penetration, C-sat (customer experience), and E-sat (team satisfaction).
Represent the city and customer voice inside Livspace to enable continuous improvement.

EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATIONS

B.Arch or equivalent degree, or a comparable degree in Architecture/Design. MBA is an added advantage.
Typically 6–7 years in an interior fit-out business with experience in revenue-generating teams or selling design products/services through designers.
Strong attention to detail and excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to convey business requirements clearly.
Structured thought process and strong analytical ability; thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
Strong leadership and people-management skills (direct team reporting in past roles required).
Deep understanding of the interior fit-out industry, processes, and market trends.
Experience in hiring, retaining, motivating, and mentoring a diverse team (e.g., BMs, TAMs, IDs, LPs). Includes tracking, training, performance assessment, and course correction.
Customer empathy and the ability to be a trustworthy, knowledgeable partner.
