Job summary

Think People Solutions is seeking a Senior Demand Planning Leader to own end-to-end forecasting across SKU, style, category, size, channel and location. You will drive S&OP/IBP processes with cross-functional teams including Sales, Merchandising, Supply Chain and Finance to align plans and improve service levels.

You will develop inventory strategies, oversee replenishment, monitor stock metrics, and lead planning analytics to forecast accuracy and working capital optimization.

Qualifications

• 12-16 years of overall experience with 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Strong experience in Demand Planning, Inventory Planning and Supply Chain Planning.
• Preferably from D2C, Fashion, Apparel, E-commerce, Omnichannel Retail, Lifestyle or Consumer businesses.

Responsibilities

• Own demand forecasting at SKU, style, category, size, channel and location level.
• Drive demand planning using historical sales, seasonality, promotions, new product launches and market inputs.
• Establish and lead the monthly S&OP / IBP process across Sales, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing and Operations.
• Develop inventory plans covering safety stock, reorder points, min/max levels and Weeks of Cover.
• Drive replenishment and allocation across D2C, marketplaces and retail stores.
• Monitor stock availability, stock-outs, sell-through, inventory turns, WOC and lost sales.
• Own inventory ageing, excess, slow-moving and obsolete inventory reduction.
• Partner with Merchandising and Marketing on liquidation, markdown and inventory clearance strategies.
• Drive new product launch planning including initial quantities, size curves, ramp-up and replenishment.
• Build dashboards and analytics for forecast accuracy, forecast bias, stock availability, inventory ageing, fill rate, inventory turns and demand-supply gaps.
• Identify planning risks and take corrective actions to improve availability while optimizing working capital.
• Lead and develop the Demand Planning, Inventory Planning, Replenishment/Allocation and Planning Analytics teams.
