Job summary

Lodha Pune seeks a Senior Civil Construction Lead to plan and execute Grade-A warehousing layouts and Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB). You will develop micro-level schedules, track milestones, budgets, and cash flows while overseeing safety, QA/QC, and on-site problem solving.

• Solid familiarity with MIDC and PMRDA guidelines; Pune industrial dynamics knowledge.

Job description

1. Project Planning & Execution

• Lead end-to-end project execution for Grade-A warehousing layouts and Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB).
• Develop and monitor micro-level construction schedules (using MS Project or Primavera) to track milestones, budgets, and cash flows.
• Manage value engineering initiatives to optimize costs across civil, structural, PEB, and MEP works.
• Resolve on-site engineering bottlenecks, design conflicts, and supply chain disruptions immediately.

2. Contractor & Vendor Management

• Appoint and manage Project Management Consultants (PMCs), general contractors, PEB suppliers, and MEP vendors.
• Oversee the billing, estimation, and variation orders, ensuring the project remains within the sanctioned budget.
• Ensure strict adherence to Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) manual parameters for high-performance flooring and drainage.

3. Statutory Compliances & Stakeholder Relations

• Secure structural, environmental, fire department (MIDC / PMRDA), and local village panchayat approvals or NOCs relevant to Pune industrial zones.
• Liaise with industrial park clients/tenants during custom built-to-suit (BTS) modifications to align organizational deliveries with occupier requirements.

4. Safety & Team Leadership

• Direct safety compliance officers to implement zero-harm environments across multiple construction clusters.
• Lead, mentor, and build the internal civil execution, billing, and safety teams at the site.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (NICMAR qualification is highly preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 1215+ years in industrial construction, with at least 5 years leading execution at a senior level for a major real estate developer or industrial park developer.
• Track Record: Proven completion of at least two large-scale logistics parks or industrial warehouse boxes exceeding 2 to 5 Lakh square feet from design to handover.
• Local Knowledge: Solid familiarity with MIDC (Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation) and PMRDA guidelines, along with experience dealing with local Pune industrial dynamics.
