Job summary

Reliance Elektrik Works is seeking a General Manager for 400 kV AIS substation projects in Uttar Pradesh. The role requires 15-20+ years of AIS project experience, BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, and strong leadership to drive end-to-end construction, testing, and client handover.

You will supervise civil foundations, electrical erection, testing, and commissioning, coordinating with PSUs, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure on-time delivery with adherence to safety and quality

Qualifications

• 15-20+ years of experience in AIS substation projects.
• Proven knowledge of AIS construction, erection, testing, commissioning.
• Experience with government/PSU EPC projects.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end execution of 400 kV, 765 kV AIS projects including commissioning and handover.
• Supervise civil foundation works, equipment erection, testing, commissioning.
• Install transformers, breakers, isolators, CTs/PTs/CVTs, busbars, cabling, earthing.
• Coordinate with government departments, PSUs, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Ensure on-time completion per drawings, specs, quality, safety.
• Manage manpower, materials, planning, billing, and contractual docs.
• Lead project teams through testing, commissioning, handover to client.

Experience: 1520+ years in AIS (Air Insulated Substation) projects
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering preferred
Project Type: Government / PSU Projects/EPC Projects

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end execution of 400 kV, 765 kV, and above AIS substation projects, from construction to final commissioning and handover.
• Supervise civil work (Foundation) equipment erection, installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Handle installation of transformers, circuit breakers, isolators, CTs/PTs/CVTs, busbars, gantries, protection panels, SCADA, cabling, and earthing systems.
• Coordinate with government departments, PSUs, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Ensure project completion within deadlines, as per approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Manage manpower, materials, project planning, billing, and contractual documentation.
• Lead project teams and ensure successful testing, commissioning, and final client handover.
