Job summary

Flowserve Corporation in India is seeking an entry-level GL Accountant – Fixed Assets Associate to join our Finance team. You will support fixed asset accounting activities and contribute to accurate financial reporting, while participating in month-end closings, audits, and process improvements.

The role is ideal for recent graduates with a accounting background who are eager to develop in a multinational, multicultural environment and work in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Up to one year of relevant experience; fresh graduates welcome.
• Good written and verbal communication in English and Hungarian.
• Basic accounting knowledge.
• MS Office proficiency, especially Excel.
• Analytical, accurate and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support fixed asset accounting and processing activities.
• Communicate with sites on fixed asset-related matters.
• Assist with monthly fixed asset reporting.
• Reconcile selected general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Support month-end closing and financial consolidation activities.
• Assist with internal and external audits.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Experience with SAP or Oracle.
• Previous experience in a multinational or shared-services environment.
• Exposure to fixed asset accounting processes.
