Job summary

Persistent Systems seeks a GenAI Engineer with 8–12 years of software experience and 2+ years in GenAI/LLM. You will design prompt libraries, orchestrate multi-agent LLM workflows, and develop scalable AI solutions across enterprise platforms.

Role requires deep knowledge of Python, Generative AI, and cloud deployments (AWS/GCP). Hybrid work model and strong collaboration skills are essential for success in this team.

Qualifications

• 8 to 12 years of software development experience with at least 2 years focused on GenAI/LLM.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Generative AI.
• Hands-on with multiple LLMs and agent frameworks.
• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph and CrewAI.
• Familiarity with AWS or GCP for cloud deployments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain prompt libraries, system prompts, templates, and domain instructions.
• Implement multi-agent orchestration using leading LLMs.
• Leverage LangChain, LangGraph, and Crew to build AI workflows.
• Develop scalable enterprise-grade GenAI solutions and apps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI into platforms.
• Monitor, evaluate, and optimize AI model performance and UX.
• Contribute to AI observability, evaluation, and governance practices.
• Support prompt engineering, fine-tuning strategies, and model optimization.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for AI implementations.
• Research emerging AI technologies, tools, and frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of overall experience, including at least 2 years specifically focused on GenAI and LLM-based solutions. This role requires hands-on expertise in developing and maintaining enterprise-grade AI solutions, with a focus on multi-agent orchestration and advanced AI/ML algorithms.

• Utilize agentic frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, and Crew to build intelligent AI workflows.
• Develop scalable enterprise-grade Generative AI solutions and applications.
