Persistent Systems invites applications for an in-person GenAI/Agentic AI Engineer hiring drive in Pune. Date: 8 August 2026, 9 AM to 3 PM. We seek engineers with 5+ years in AI/ML, strong GenAI, LLMs, RAG, embeddings, and agent-based automation expertise.

The role is full-time and located in Pune. Expect hands-on work with cutting-edge GenAI frameworks, cloud deployments, and scalable API development. Walk-ins welcome for immediate interviews.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of AI/ML experience including model development.
• 2+ years Generative AI (LLMs, embeddings, RAG, apps).
• 6+ months hands-on with Agentic AI frameworks (CrewAI / AutoGen / LangGraph / LangChain).
• Strong Python and ML libraries (Scikit‑learn, Pandas, NumPy).
• Experience with OpenAI APIs, Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face, and prompt engineering.
• Familiarity with building scalable APIs using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud services (Azure/AWS/GCP) for AI deployment.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy GenAI apps using LLMs (OpenAI, Azure, Claude, Gemini, Llama).
• Develop Agentic AI workflows with CrewAI, AutoGen, LangGraph, LangChain Agents.
• Design RAG pipelines, vector search, embeddings-based retrieval.
• Build scalable AI services with Python, FastAPI/Flask, and cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define use cases and productionize GenAI solutions.
• Implement hallucination reduction, prompt-engineering, and model evaluation.
• Integrate LLMs with enterprise apps, APIs, and automation workflows.
• Work with vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Chroma, Weaviate).
• Monitor and optimize GenAI models for accuracy, performance, cost.

We are seeking a skilled GenAI & Agentic AI Engineer with strong experience in building end‑to‑end AI/ML solutions, Generative AI applications, and agent‑based automation workflows. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in machine learning along with hands‑on expertise in LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and Agentic AI frameworks such as Crew AI, AutoGen, Lang Graph, or Lang Chain Agents.

What You'll Do:

Expertise You’ll Bring:

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML, including model development, data preprocessing, EDA, training, and evaluation.
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience in Generative AI (LLMs, embeddings, RAG, LLM‑based apps).
• 6+ months of hands‑on experience with Agentic AI frameworks (CrewAI / AutoGen / LangGraph / LangChain Agents).
• Strong proficiency in Python and ML libraries (Scikit‑learn, Pandas, NumPy).
• Experience with OpenAI APIs, Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face, and prompt engineering.
• Familiarity with building scalable APIs using Fast API, Flask, or Django.
• Hands‑on knowledge of cloud services (Azure/AWS/GCP) for AI deployment.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and integration patterns.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, Docker, and model deployment best practice.
