Job summary

Persistent is building a Senior Consultant team in Pune to architect scalable, secure multi‑agent AI solutions for evolving business needs. You will craft flexible systems enabling seamless interaction among intelligent agents and spearhead automated workflows in enterprise settings.

You will work with LangChain, LangGraph, and RAG pipelines, applying advanced prompt strategies and model fine‑tuning to meet business requirements, while aligning with governance and scalability goals.

Qualifications

• Strong Python proficiency and software development best practices.
• Hands‑on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or Hugging Face.
• Experience with vector databases and production‑ready AI pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS) and SAFe Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize production‑ready multi‑agent ecosystems.
• Implement complex routing, intent recognition, and multi‑step planning loops.
• Build RAG pipelines and agentic systems using LangChain/LangGraph.
• Design prompt engineering strategies for accurate, safe model outputs.
• Fine‑tune foundational models on enterprise datasets.

What You’ll Do

• AI Orchestration & Agentic Systems: Design, build, and optimize production‑ready multi‑agent ecosystems.
• Implement complex routing, intent recognition, and multi‑step planning loops.
• Build production‑ready Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and sophisticated agentic systems using frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph.
• Design and optimize advanced prompt engineering strategies to enhance the accuracy, safety, and relevance of model outputs.
• Fine‑tune and adapt foundational models using proprietary enterprise datasets to meet specific business requirements.
• Ensure all AI workflows are secure, scalable, and fully compliant with global data privacy and governance regulations.

Expertise You’ll Bring

• Programming: Advanced proficiency in Python and software development best practices.
• GenAI Frameworks: Hands‑on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or Hugging Face.
• Vector Databases: Proven experience with Pinecone, ChromaDB, or pgvector.
• Cloud Platforms: Expertise in deploying and managing AI solutions on AWS.
• Software Engineering: Proficiency in Git, REST APIs, microservices architecture, and SAFe Agile methodologies.
• Explainability: Experience with tools such as Langfuse or LangSmith to audit agent reasoning and ensure system transparency.
• Experience: 2 to 6+ years in software engineering or machine learning, with at least 1 to 3 years dedicated to Generative AI development.
