Job summary

LTM is seeking a Senior Prompt Engineer to design, test, and optimize prompts for AI systems, ensuring high-quality outputs for enterprise applications when Azure is the chosen hyperscaler.

The role involves integrating prompt engineering workflows with Azure cloud services and leveraging Azure AI capabilities, collaborating closely with ML engineers to fine-tune LLMs and build scalable evaluation pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/AI/Data Science or related fields.
• Strong Python for automation and experimentation.
• Solid understanding of LLMs (GPT, BERT, Claude) and prompt engineering best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services (Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, AKS, Data Factory).

Responsibilities

• Design, refine and validate prompts for LLMs to improve AI responses across enterprise use cases.
• Integrate prompt engineering workflows with Azure cloud services and leverage Azure AI capabilities.
• Collaborate with ML engineers to fine-tune LLMs and integrate them with Azure-based pipelines.
• Build evaluation pipelines to measure prompt effectiveness using quantitative metrics and feedback loops.
• Work with product and data engineering teams to align prompt strategies with business goals.

A Senior Prompt Engineer specializes in designing testing and optimizing prompts for AI systems ensuring high quality outputs for enterprise applications when Azure is the chosen hyperscaler This role also involves integrating prompt engineering workflows with Azure cloud services and leveraging Azure AI capabilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Prompt Design Optimization
• Craft refine and validate prompts for Large Language Models LLMs to improve AI responses across use cases like chatbots generative AI and automation Azure Integration
• Utilize Azure OpenAI Services Azure Machine Learning and Azure Kubernetes Service AKS for deploying and scaling promptbased solutions, Model FineTuning.
• Collaborate with ML engineers to finetune LLMs and integrate them with Azure based pipelines, Performance Analysis.
• Build evaluation pipelines to measure prompt effectiveness using quantitative metrics and feedback loops
• Cross Functional Collaboration
• Work with product and data engineering teams to align prompt strategies with business goals

Required Skills Qualifications

Bachelors or masters in computer science or AI Data Science or related fields

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Python for automation and experimentation
• Strong understanding of LLMs like GPT BERT Claude and prompt engineering best practices
• Handson experience with Azure services Azure OpenAI Azure ML AKS Azure Data Factory etc
• Familiarity with LangChain RAG frameworks and vector databases
• Exposure to Generative AI
• Minimizing hallucinations and application of guardrails

Preferred Experience

• Building scalable prompt engineering frameworks for production environments
• Certifications Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect or AI Engineer preferred
• Agentic AI Semantic Kernel AutoGen Langraph etc
• Develop CICD pipelines for prompt workflows using Azure DevOps
