Deutsche Bank in Mumbai, India is seeking a VP GEM Trader to execute trades, provide market content, and contribute to trading strategy within the Fixed Income and Currencies desk. You will manage the trading book, target revenue, monitor risk limits, and collaborate with Sales, Research and Tech to deliver trade ideas and INR price streaming across platforms.

The role requires strong knowledge of local markets and client flows, plus a proactive, compliant mindset.

Responsibilities

• Market making for clients in USDINR Forwards, Spot, Modified MIFOR/CCS.
• Manage trading book and target annual revenue of EUR 7-10 million.
• Coordinate with Sales and Research teams globally to generate trade ideas and win client flows.
• Regular meetings with clients to discuss market conditions and views.
• Ensure desk positions stay within internal and regulatory limits with Risk/Compliance teams.
• Collaborate with Tech to stream INR pricing across platforms.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory landscape for FX in India.

Your Key Responsibilities

As Fixed Income and Currencies (FIC) Trader you will be responsible for:

• Risk management professional responsible for market making for clients in USDINR Forwards, Spot, Modified MIFOR/CCS.
• Responsible for managing the trading book and generate annual revenue of EUR 7-10 mio.
• Coordinate with Sales and Research teams globally to generate trade ideas and help win client flows.
• Regular connect with clients via meetings and calls appraising them about market conditions and views.
• Work in coordination with Risk, Compliance and Surveillance team to ensure desk positions are well within internal and regulatory limits.
• Collaborate with tech team to ensure seamless streaming of INR pricing across E platforms.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory landscape and all regulations related to FX market for AD Banks in India.
