Tata Consultancy Services in Chennai is seeking a seasoned DevOps/SRE professional to architect and implement Infrastructure as Code on Google Cloud Platform. You will craft advanced Terraform code from scratch, build bootstrap Linux automation, and drive IaC across GCP networking and GKE environments.

The role emphasizes CI/CD, Terraform pipelines, Python automation, and the ability to evolve infra designs while ensuring compatibility with existing code.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing and implementing IaC solutions.
• Strong understanding of GCP core and networking services.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining Terraform pipelines.
• Hands-on Linux scripting and bootstrap automation.
• Familiarity with container orchestration (GKE) and data tooling (Databricks).

Role & responsibilities

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Automation

• Strong in writing advanced Terraform code from scratch to design and provision networking resources
• Understanding and implementing DevOps pipelines that deploy and configure GCP networking components
• Able to develop bootstrap automation scripts (Linux) as part of infrastructure provisioning

DevOps & Infra Automation

• Planning and developing Infra DevOps framework focusing on IaC Terraform and Python for automation
• Troubleshooting and enhancing Terraform pipelines
• Hands-on and expertise in the areas of GCP, Infra DevOps, CICD, Terraform, Automation
• Able to plan, design, develop Automation, Infra DevOps framework and pipeline
• Good understanding on Testing framework for automated unit testing
• Architecting and Designing GCP Infrastructure services
• Architecting and Designing GKE architectures
• Understanding GCP infrastructure design and able to develop
• Strong understanding of GCP Core services and Infrastructure services
• Understanding GCP data management through and knowledge on Databricks
