Persistent is seeking a highly motivated GCP DevOps Support Engineer to join our cloud operations team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting cloud-native applications and Kubernetes-based environments on Google Cloud Platform, with a focus on production support, incident management, and platform reliability.
We expect 2–5 years of experience, strong GCP and Kubernetes/GKE skills, and solid knowledge of CI/CD, IaC, monitoring, and observability practices.
Qualifikationen
- 2–5 years of experience in Cloud Support, DevOps, Platform Operations, SRE or Production Support.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience managing Kubernetes and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Knowledge of cloud-native architecture and containerized apps.
- Strong monitoring, logging, observability and alerting skills.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation.
- Knowledge of cloud networking, security, access management and governance.
- Ability to create operational docs, runbooks and support procedures.
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management abilities.

We are seeking a highly motivated GCP DevOps Support Engineer to join our cloud operations team. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience supporting cloud‑native applications and Kubernetes‑based environments on Google Cloud Platform. This role focuses on production support, incident management, platform reliability, monitoring, automation, and continuous improvement of cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes.

- Monitor, support, and continuously improve cloud and operational services running on Google Cloud Platform.
- Manage and support Kubernetes and GKE-based environments to ensure platform stability and availability.
- Investigate incidents, troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues, and perform root cause analysis.
- Coordinate incident resolution activities and provide timely communication to stakeholders.
- Build, maintain, and optimize monitoring dashboards, alerts, and observability solutions.
- Develop and maintain operational runbooks, support procedures, and technical documentation.
- Support deployment automation and continuous delivery processes across various environments.
- Administer cloud infrastructure while ensuring adherence to security, compliance, and governance standards.
- Implement and maintain backup, recovery, access management, and configuration management processes.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and business teams to improve production readiness.
