An GCP Support Engineer is a technical professional 8+ yrs experience
responsible for providing support to customers using Amazon Web Services
(GCP). This role involves troubleshooting, resolving technical issues,
optimizing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Skill Set:
- Strong understanding of GCP core services (e.g. GKE ,IAM, Moniotring,
- Terraform – Good hands on experience with TFE
- Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Bash,
- Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Good understanding of K8, Docker and containerization platform.
- CI/CD - end to end deployment process - any tool - Jenkins, GitHub,
- ArgoCD, CI/CD GCP Pipeline and any orchestration tools
- Experience in monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure the
- reliability, performance, and availability of data pipelines and
- infrastructure components on GCP.
- GCP certification is mandatory.

Responsibilities :
1. Technical Support:
- Provide expert-level support for GCP services including Security and role.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues related to infrastructure,
- networking, security, and performance.
- Debug and resolve issues related to application deployment, scaling, and
- monitoring on GCP.
2. Infrastructure Management:
- Assist customers with setting up, configuring, and managing GCP
- Guide customers on best practices for deploying and managing workloads
- on GCP.
3. Networking and Security:
- Troubleshoot networking issues related to VPC, subnets, route tables,
- security groups, and NAT gateways.
- Provide guidance on securing GCP environments, including IAM roles,
- policies, encryption, and compliance.
- Assist with configuring and troubleshooting GCP Load Balancers, Route
- 53, and Direct Connect.
4. Performance Optimization:
- Analyse and optimize the performance of GCP resources and applications.
- Provide recommendations for cost optimization, resource allocation, and
- autoscaling.
- Respond to and resolve customer-reported incidents in a timely manner.
