Job summary

Tekskills is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer in Mumbai to own and optimize end-to-end CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments. You will implement infrastructure as code, automate workflows and monitor systems for reliability and performance.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in DevOps, strong Kubernetes and Docker skills, and hands-on experience with Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, and cloud platforms. The role requires proactive problem solving and the ability to work with minimal guidance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years as a DevOps Engineer with hands‑on CI/CD experience.
• Proven expertise with Ansible, Kubernetes, Jenkins and cloud resources.
• Scripting skills in Groovy/Shell; Python/Perl/Ruby are a plus.
• Experience with Terraform and Datadog for monitoring and IaC.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using Ansible, Jenkins and Kubernetes.
• Write Groovy/Shell scripts; leverage Python/Perl/Ruby as needed.
• Manage Google Cloud resources; implement Terraform for IaC.
• Monitor systems with Datadog and troubleshoot across environments.
• Collaborate with teams and drive tasks with minimal supervision.

Role & responsibilities

• Proven experience with CI/CD tools like Red Hat Ansible, Kubernetes, Prometheus, GitHub, Atlassian Jira, Confluence, and Jenkins.
• Must have Groovy/Shell scripting knowledge. Good to have Python, Perl or Ruby scripting knowledge
• Practical familiarity with public cloud resources and services, like Google Cloud.
• Good to have Terraform knowledge
• Familiarity with various IT monitoring and management tools like Datadog.
• Proficiency with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across test and production environments.
• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
• Candidate should be able to work independently without much/ minimum guidance
