Job summary

Persistent Systems Limited in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced advisory professional to join the onsite advisory team, preparing and maintaining pre-onboarding case material and reusable guidance while ensuring business decisions stay with the right authority.

You will work across discovery packs, platform patterns, and evidence requirements, coordinate handoffs, and contribute to a culture of talent development with hybrid work and ongoing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cloud engineering, platform support or application assessment.
• 3+ years with GCP is required.
• Strong knowledge of GCP architecture, IAM, networking, compute, containers, data and operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare discovery packs, workload inventories, readiness scorecards and architecture-review inputs.
• Analyze application information against approved onboarding patterns, platform standards and evidence requirements.
• Document meeting outcomes, open questions, dependencies, decision requests and handoff packages.
• Maintain the controlled library of patterns, decision trees, FAQs, templates and case evidence.
• Perform initial technical research and options analysis for review by the onsite advisor or Advisory Lead.
• Track advisory cases through intake, clarification, readiness, escalation and warm handoff.
• Identify recurring friction and draft evidence-backed changes to existing guidance.
• Support agreed overlap hours, office-hour preparation and onsite/offshore handovers.

Expertise You’ll Bring:

• 5+ years in cloud engineering, platform support or application assessment, including 3+ years with GCP.
• Working knowledge of GCP architecture, IAM, networking, compute, containers, data and operations.
• Strong analytical writing, structured documentation and requirements-traceability skills.
• Experience working in distributed delivery models and managing detailed technical handoffs.
• Ability to work with controlled enterprise information and follow access restrictions.
