Job summary

Goldman Sachs Group in Bengaluru is seeking a backend engineer to design and implement scalable backend infrastructure and APIs. You will write high quality code that is robust and readable, and thrive in ambiguous situations while supporting knowledge sharing within the team and external groups.

The role requires hands-on Python development, NoSQL and caching/streaming tech experience, strong CS fundamentals, and excellent analytical and communication skills for global audiences.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Python.
• 2+ years in NoSQL databases like MongoDB or ElasticSearch.
• 2+ years in Caching technologies like Redis or Memcached.
• 1+ years in Streaming technologies like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 3+ years of work experience, or Master's Degree with more than 3+ year work experience in Software Development.
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals in Data Structures, Algorithms, Complexity Analysis, Object-Oriented Design and Designing Large Scale Data-Intensive Applications.
• Excellent Analytical and Communication skills including experience speaking to technical and business audiences and working globally.
