Goldman Sachs Services Pvt Ltd in Bengaluru is seeking an Associate-Software Engineering to design and implement backend infrastructure and APIs, delivering robust, scalable code in an agile environment. The role requires 3+ years of Python, 2+ years NoSQL, 2+ years caching, and 1+ year streaming experience with MongoDB/ElasticSearch, Redis, Kafka or RabbitMQ.

A CS degree is required or a Master’s with substantial industry experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on Python development.
• 2+ years with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, ElasticSearch).
• 2+ years caching (Redis or Memcached).
• 1+ year streaming (Kafka or RabbitMQ).
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field with 3+ years work experience, or Master’s with >3 years.
• Strong CS fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, complexity analysis, OOD and large-scale data-intensive apps.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills including experience speaking to technical and business audiences.

Responsibilities: Design and implement backend infrastructure and APIs. Write high quality code that is robust, readable and scales. Possess the drive to dive deep, thrive and progress even in ambiguous situations. Encourage and support knowledge sharing within team and external groups. Work in an agile environment focused on the most important deliverable for our clients.

Required Qualifications: 3+ years of hands-on experience in Python, 2+ years in NoSQL databases like MongoDB or ElasticSearch, 2+ years in Caching technologies like Redis or Memcached, 1+ years in Streaming technologies like Kafka or RabbitMQ. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field with 3+ years of work experience, or Masters’ Degree with more than 3+ year work experience in Software Development. Strong Computer Science fundamentals in Data Structures, Algorithms, Complexity Analysis, Object-Oriented Design and Designing Large Scale Data-Intensive Applications. Excellent Analytical and Communication skills including experience speaking to technical and business audiences and working globally.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Python, Django or Flask frameworks. Proficiency in Linux, Bash, JSON and NoSQL. Knowledge of Loan lifecycle. Experience with cloud computing systems.
