Role: Fund Accounting Team Leader

Location

Chennai - Onsite

Role Overview

The Fund Accounting Team Leader will initially support daily fund accounting activities, including NAV support, reconciliations, and tax/accounting entries. After settling down, he/she would be entrusted with leading and guiding a team of Fund accountants, besides carrying out their daily task.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day fund accounting activities
• Support NAV computation and validation
• Pass accounting entries including TDS and other adjustments
• Perform bank, custodian, and ledger reconciliations
• Assist in preparation of MIS and reporting
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of deliverables
• Support audits and documentation requirements

Salary and timings

• Rs.40,000 / month (Rs.4,80,000/- per annum)
• Morning 11:00am to 8:00pm (quarter ends to be hectic)

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification:

• CA Inter qualified/ CMA Inter qualified/ M.Com

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience
• Prior fund accounting/Mutual fund experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Strong accounting fundamentals
• Knowledge of TDS and taxation
• Proficiency in Excel (Macros preferred)
• MS Office and Tally

Soft Skills

• Good communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
