Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in fund accounting, fund administration, audit of AIFs / mutual funds / PMS, or a Big 4 / mid-tier audit role with financial services exposure
• Exposure to public-markets funds is preferred; freshers with a strong CA background and the right profile will also be considered

Responsibilities

• Support daily NAV computation workflows in coordination with the fund Administrator
• Maintain trade logs, position files, and books of accounts for the Fund and the Investment Manager
• Process and record corporate actions, dividends, interest accruals, and other portfolio events
• Maintain audit-ready records of all transactions and supporting documentation
• Perform daily reconciliations of cash, securities, and trade positions across custodian, broker, and fund administrator
• Assist in investor statements, capital account statements, and quarterly investor reports
• Support tax filings and stat audit: Form 64 (AIF tax filing), TDS, GST
• Liaise with fund administrator, custodian, broker, and RTA on day-to-day matters

Role: Fund Accounting Executive

Location: Aerocity, New Delhi

Reporting Manager: VP

The Mandate

The Fund Accounting Executive is a hands-on, execution-focused role supporting the VP; Fund Accounting on the day-to-day rhythm of the Fund reconciliations, NAV inputs, investor reporting workflows, and statutory documentation. The role is the entry point into AIF fund accounting at a thoughtfully constructed platform, with strong mentorship from senior leadership and a clear growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Fund Accounting Support
  • Support daily NAV computation workflows in coordination with the fund Administrator
  • Maintain trade logs, position files, and books of accounts for the Fund and the Investment Manager
  • Process and record corporate actions, dividends, interest accruals, and other portfolio Events
  • Maintain accurate, audit-ready records of all transactions and supporting documentation
• Reconciliations
  • Perform daily reconciliations of cash, securities, and trade positions across custodian,
  • broker, and fund administrator
  • Identify breaks and variances; elevate to the VP for resolution
  • Maintain the reconciliation tracker and ensure timely closure of all open items
• Investor Reporting & Capital Activity
  • Support processing of investor capital calls, drawdowns, redemptions, and Distributions
  • Assist in preparation of investor statements, capital account statements, and quarterly investor reports
  • Support fee computations (management fee, performance fee, high-water mark) under the supervision of the VP
  • Help respond to investor queries on statements and reporting
• Statutory, Tax & Audit Support
  • Support quarterly limited reviews and the annual statutory audit — gather schedules,
  • reconciliations, and documentation
  • Assist with Form 64 (AIF tax filing), TDS, GST, and other periodic filings
  • Maintain organised, audit-ready files and documentation trails
• Operational & Cross-Functional
  • Liaise with the fund administrator, custodian, broker, and RTA on day-to-day operational matters
  • Support the Compliance team on data, reports, and disclosures as required
  • Contribute to SOP documentation, process improvement, and basic automation of repetitive workflows

Candidate Profile

This is a role for someone early in their career who is curious about public markets, obsessive about accuracy, and wants to build deep technical foundations in fund accounting under a senior practitioner.

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in fund accounting, fund administration, audit of AIFs / mutual funds / PMS, or a Big 4 / mid-tier audit role with financial services exposure
• Exposure to public-markets funds is preferred; freshers with a strong CA background and the right profile will also be considered

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (preferred)
• Working knowledge of Ind AS / Indian GAAP; familiarity with AIF regulations is a plus
• Strong proficiency in Excel; familiarity with fund accounting platforms is an advantage
